The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR AED Blended Learning certification class combines a 2.5 hour online learning program with a 90 minute in-person hands-on skills practice and testing session. The course prepares individuals to provide care for choking emergencies and perform CPR and use an AED device for victims of sudden cardiac arrest of all ages, Adult, Child, and Infant. The course consists of 2 parts: The online portion is the American Red Cross simulation learning course and the in-person portion is a hands-on CPR AED skills practice and testing session. When you sign up for the Adult and Pediatric CPR AED Blended Learning certification class, you will be emailed the link to sign up for and complete the online portion of the class (please note that it can take up to 2.5 hours to complete the online class).
Students must complete the online learning course prior to the in-person skills session, and must bring a copy of the online verification certificate to the skills session class. The online class can NOT be completed on a mobile device. It must be done on a computer or iPad.
Upon successful completion of the CPR AED skills session you will receive the American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR AED certification, valid for two years.
We can also provide this Adult and Pediatric CPR AED Blended Learning certification course on-site at your home or workplace. If you have a group of 8 or more people, we will come to you.
